Places in Boston to get a cocktail/kit to go

Restaurants in Boston have been thinking of creative ways to still make money while enduring the hardships COVID-19 has brought upon the food industry. A lot of restaurants have been selling ready to go cocktails/cocktail kits for you to enjoy in the comforts of your own home. With not all restaurants open for patio seating yet I have rounded up a few restaurants to share with you guys in Boston so you can enjoy signature cocktails on your own patio! Citrus and Salt (Back Bay): Cocktail mixes available to create their signature drinks. Citrus and Salt is one of my favorite bar for Mexican inspired cocktails in the city. The…

Easy Carrot Peanut Butter Dog treats

One of Charlie’s favorite snacks are carrots. He literally goes crazy when he sees them or hears me open the bag. So I decided to try a carrot treat recipe since he loves them so much! It only has five ingredients and was super easy to make! Definitely one of the easier treats I have made. I have been wanting to make a carrot treat for a while, so I am glad they came out good. He loved them and kept begging for more! I would love to see your photos if you decide to make this! Love, Jess and Charlie 🍷🐾

    Mask Skin Care

Since COVID-19 exploded within the US, nurses have been wearing masks for 12 hours straight for MONTHS. With that came acne and clogged pores that raged on our faces. With a lot of states putting in place mandatory face coverings when in public, I’m sure a lot of the general public will experience it too. I had a poll on my Instagram story last month if you guys wanted to see what I have been using for my mask skin care routine and 89% of you said “Yes!”. I am no means a skin care expert, but this just seemed to work for my combination skin to help treat and…

    Dog Friendly Newport, RI

Newport, RI has always been one of my favorite places. I love the coastal town vibes mixed with old history. So when we got Charlie I knew we had to find all the dog friendly spots there! We normally just do day trips since Newport is about 1.5 hours away from Boston, but we spent the night this past November at Paws on Pelham, THE CUTEST dog friendly boutique inn I have ever seen. The decor and breakfast was to die for and it even had a “ruff” deck! We were amazed to find a dog friendly restaurant in the fall as most of the dog friendly restaurants in Newport…

    Hello there and welcome!

Hi! I’m Jess, a nurse by day, and a dog mom to my mini goldendoodle Charlie all day. I live on the South Shore of MA with my husband Tim. I’m biased but I think it’s the best place to live. I share home finds, bravo TV commentary, coastal aesthetic, wine, blue and white everything, and dog friendly life. I would always complain I didn’t have a hobby and originally started Charlie’s Instagram as a place to document his life. However, his account grew quickly and we loved connecting with others so we decided to build his brand in to so much more! I started this blog as a way…

    Rosés all the Days

If you have to know one thing about me, know how much I LOVE rosé. For me rosé season never ends. It is one of the most refreshing drinks I could choose to drink. It just brings a smile to my face. I also love the fact that it can be made in to Frosé, which let me tell you is the most basic white girl drink to exist and I am here for it. I am no sommelier (I can barely smell anything at baseline), but when choosing a rosé I always go for the drier, lighter variety over the sweeter, darker variety. I want a rosé that goes…

    Grooming Tips

When we got Charlie I honestly did not realize the care that goes in to grooming a goldendoodle. Before you commit to a goldendoodle I hope you know what goes in to grooming them. I swear Charlie’s coat takes more maintenance than mine. We take him to the groomer’s every three months and it costs more than my haircut. On that note, here is what I do day to day to take care of Charlie’s hair. I try to brush Charlie every two days and demat as needed when mats are found 🙈COWBOY MAGIC IS YOUR FRIEND. It is a glorious detangler that lets your brush glide through your doodles…
