New England summers are something so delightful, especially on the south shore of MA and on Cape Cod. With recommendations from many of you I compiled them in a list here for you to enjoy this summer!

South Shore Things

  • Island Creek Oyster Farm Raw Bar (Duxbury)
  • Lucky Finn Cafe (Hanover/Scituate) (not allowed inside but plenty of outdoor seating)
  • Erich’s Clam Shack (Marshfield)
  • Untold Brewing (Scituate)
  • Rexhame Beach (Marshfield) Dogs allowed on leash
  • Snug Harbor Fish Co (Duxbury. Best lobster roll. No seats inside but sit on the patio)
  • Stodder’s Neck dog park. Right on the water (Hingham)

  • Stack Shack (Plymouth) Outdoor bar with food trucks

  • Hog Island Beer (Orleans)

  • Sandy Neck Off Road Beach (Sandwich) allows dogs on leash year round
  • Ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard are dog friendly
  • Dog Gone Sailing Charters, Dolphin Fleet and SeaSalt Charters all offer a variety of trips including whale-watching and dolphin cruises, sunrise and sunset sails and even charter fishing trips.(out of Provincetown)
