Housewarming gift ideas
One thing that hasn’t slowed down during this pandemic has been the housing market. We know a few people who are looking for homes or who have bought homes this year. Interest rates are silly low and people are looking to leave the city. I wish I was one of those people who could afford a house right now, so until then I will just continue to share my housing suggestions instead! I’m sure you may know people house hunting as well, which is why I got thinking about housewarming gifts. I have rounded up a few gift giving ideas for the new homeowner. Neutering Tips
It has been about 6 months since we all began social distancing and so many puppies were brought home! Since the start of quarantine I know at least 7 people who got a puppy. Because of this I thought I would share some neutering tips and what to expect during the first few days since neutering may be coming up for some! (Sorry I don’t have any spaying tips. If the next dog we get is a female I will definitely share!) I am no neutering expert and if you have true concerns or questions always consult your vet. These are just from my own experience with Charlie. Try to…

Martha’s Vineyard Dog Friendly Guide
The end of July should have been our honeymoon, so Tim and I took a couple days to ourselves and spent two nights on Martha’s Vineyard instead. We decided to leave Charlie at home, but we still found dog friendly places to share with you! Since we spent most of our time in Edgartown, most of these recommendations are in Edgartown, but I have added a few Oak Bluffs suggestions. Due to COVID-19 a lot of places that were once dog friendly are no longer and policies keep changing, but this is what we found when we were on island. Hope you enjoy! Getting There We took the Island Queen…

Essential items when going out in public with your dog
Since quarantine has hit I have found myself exploring more with Charlie and going for longer walks. I have also found myself going through my mental checklist of what Charlie needs before we hit the road. So I have decided to share with you guys our essential items of what we bring when we go out with Charlie. 1. Leash A leash of course is self explanatory but The Foggy Dog, Lulu and Lea, and The Black Dog are some of my favorite leashes. They have so many patterns and colors to go with whatever mood or season you are feeling. The Foggy Dog leash is more of a climbing…

Spicy Watermelon Margarita Recipe
With Summer in full swing now and temperatures climbing to be hot AF in Boston, I cannot think of a better way to cool down than with a watermelon margarita. Tim made me this a couple weeks ago and 97% of you wanted to see his recipe! It can be made spicy or not. In our household, we love spicy margaritas, so that is what we did! The watermelon syrup did take Tim a little bit to make, but once it is done it is worth it! He was so gracious as to share his recipe with me so here it is! To make watermelon syrup combine 1 cup watermelon…

Puppy Essentials
CONGRATS! You either are getting a new puppy, have one already, or are just thinking about it. Whichever it is, I am here to provide you with some insight in to what a new puppy needs and entails. I have had dogs my whole life but Charlie really is the first I entirely was responsible for from the second we picked him up. So I have learned a lot about what worked with him and what we couldn’t have survived the puppy phases without. A good crate : We did crate train Charlie. For the first few months he slept in his crate at night. I do recommend crate training…
